The Specialty Programs allow you to go deeper into a specific field of diving. Each program gives you the skills in depth and the experience required to safely plan and conduct dives of your favourite area. There is a huge selection of programs such as the Specialty in Shark Diving, or Photo and Video, or Deep Diving, and many more.
During the Specialty Program you will learn some of the exciting techniques, enlarge your skills and knowledge, and gain more detailed theory about specific subjects. You will become a kind of expert on the field. Indeed, finishing 2 Specialty Programs entitles you to hold the SSI Specialty Diver card.
Depending on the subject, the Specialty Program includes either 2 or 3 dives. A combination of different Specialty Programs is also possible. You can start the Specialty Program either directly after you have completed your Open Water Diver Course or after the Advanced Course.
And, once you have completed 4 SSI Specialty Programs and collected at least 24 dives, you will get the recognition card of Advanced Open Water Diver SSI.
