Dive Center in Komodo

Dive center in Komodo - Wet Frog Divers

Wet Frog Divers – a dive center created by professional divers who have been diving in Komodo and Indonesia for many years

We would like to introduce ourselves and are looking forward to your visit

Dive center in Komodo - Wet Frog DiversWe are Wet Frog Divers, we are a team of divers who have been working in this field for many years before we dared the step to our own dive center.

We, that are Dmitry and Natalie, run the dive centre on the spot and have been living in Bali many years before. During our time in Bali, we have encountered and learned to understand the Indonesian culture. We have been working close with people from Bali, have been living in local villages and made many friends around local people. Occasionally, we had in Bali guests who were interested in diving in Komodo National Park. From our private trips we already knew how amazing the dive spots are there. Thus we were more than happy to bring our guests to Komodo. We really loved diving there (and still do it). And finally, we got a chance to be Labuan Bajo-based, the gateway to Komodo, and to go diving with our guests in Komodo every day.

Existing Dive Center – New name

Being supported by our friends who are professional divers too, we bought a dive centre in 2018 that has already been existed in Labuan Bajo for eight years, and brought it under our management.

The previous owner intended to go back to Europe, thus he was offering the whole package: the company, the boat and the team. We were happy to continue working with this captain and the team, and we loved the boat from the first moment.

Dive center in Komodo - poolWe gave the company a new look and named it Wet Frog Divers. We have assigned the name during our brainstorming-round and it hides some interesting connections to us and our guests. The legend came into being.

Today the dive center offers all necessary infrastructure to make our guests able to go diving in Komodo National Park.

We own our own compressor (BAUER) that is an old design yet a very robust one and where we can fill up to 6 tanks at a time. With our own more than 40 tanks three dives per day are easily organised. For those guests who prefer to travel light, we rent scuba equipment that we regularly service with our partner service shop directly in Labuan Bajo. By the way, they also provide support for our guests’ BCD and regulator needs.

Our dive center is conveniently located inside the Bintang Flores Hotel which gives our guests the opportunity of short ways and being able to meet us at any time. The rooms of our dive center face the sand beach and are just a few steps away from the 2m deep pool. Our guests can leave their scuba travel suitcases and diving accessories in our storage room.

Furthermore, there is an office room where we meet and greet our guests, a cozy sitting area outsides and a washing area with separate sinks.

Our aim for you

Komodo, IndonesiaOur aim is to offer professional diving in a familiar atmosphere. It is important to us that diving and your whole stay with us get a personal touch; that you like it and feel good; and that you go home full of great memories about diving in Komodo National Park and about us, Wet Frog Divers. And especially that you have a mind to return again.

Therefore, we prefer small diving groups with divers of the same experience. We provide your individual dive guides if you are diving with your family or your group. And we do not have standardized trips; we rather plan our trips according to our guests’ interests and skills, sure under consideration of weather conditions.

Discover new under water, meet the famous Komodo Dragons, watch hundreds of Flying Foxes in the sunset, walk through a tropical forest to reach the waterfall, swim in a cave or just chill in a hammock on our boat.

We invite you to dive into the world of Komodo, to explore, to relax and re-energise. We show you the gem of eastern Indonesia.

Indonesia and Komodo National Park are waiting you. Book your holiday today.

Spread the love
